About Turquoise Ladies
Sterling silver jewelry from the Southwest. Native American Handcrafted • Mexican Artisans • Southwest independent Artisans
Our Story
At Turquoise Ladies, we believe jewelry should tell a story—and few stones speak louder than turquoise. Rooted in tradition and inspired by the beauty of the Southwest, our collection features handcrafted pieces in sterling silver, showcasing vibrant turquoise and a variety of hand-selected semi-precious stones.
Our unique collection consists of one-of-a-kind pieces that are personally hand-selected by myself and my business partner Nancy. Many of our pieces are proudly made by Native American artisans, Mexican artisans, and independent Southwest artisans, preserving cultural craftsmanship and timeless techniques passed down through generations. Whether you're looking for a bold statement cuff or a delicate everyday ring, each item is designed to celebrate authenticity, artistry, and individuality.
We're passionate about sharing the beauty and spirit of turquoise with the world—one piece at a time.

Meet the Founders

Annie Perez
Co-Founder
Annie brings 20 years of experience in buying and selling sterling silver, turquoise, and semi-precious stone jewelry. Her passion for Native American craftsmanship and the rich silversmith traditions of Taxco, Mexico was sparked during her time as Jewelry Buyer and Manager at the iconic El Paso Saddleblanket. There, she curated and managed over 60 jewelry cases and displays—buying in large quantities to supply both retail and wholesale customers from around the globe.
She sources her jewelry through trusted contacts and trips to Taxco MX, Gallup, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, estate sales, and major trade shows, ensuring each piece is authentic and unique. Now, she's teamed up with longtime friend and fellow turquoise lover Nancy Walter to launch The Turquoise Ladies. Together, they combine decades of experience, a shared passion for beautiful design, and a commitment to offering unique, meaningful pieces that bring joy to every customer.

Our Mission
Our mission is to celebrate the natural beauty of turquoise and semi-precious stones through thoughtfully crafted sterling silver jewelry. We honor the artistry of Native American makers, Mexican artisans from renowned regions like Taxco (famous for some of the world's finest sterling silver) and Mata Ortiz (celebrated worldwide for their pottery), and independent Southwest artisans. Every piece we offer reflects authenticity, cultural heritage, and timeless craftsmanship. Many are drawn to our semi-precious stones not only for their beauty but also for their believed healing properties and spiritual significance. Every design we share is meant to inspire connection—to heritage, to the earth, and to personal expression.
